Meagan celebrates

Meagan is still in recovery from her big 2 year celebration on Sunday. She got together with family and a host of gifts and food for a fun evening. Meagan wants to thank everyone for the great toys, clothes and books received. A special thanks goes out to aunt Christine for the elaborate kitchen which required 2 hours, multiple tools, glue and 2 beers for daddy to complete. Meagan cannot wait to see what daddy buys for Aunt Christine's first little one! Meagan also had her 2 year doctors visit. Tale of the tape: 24 lbs - 11 oz, 32 1/4 inches tall, 10th percentile height, 25th percentile weight, 90th percentile cranium size (still a built in helmet). Turning two!

Meagan just hit 24 months on Friday! She is doing fantastic and talking quite a bit now - sometimes too much! She can now put together 2 or 3 words. For instance: waffle pop-up, snack now, cheese n juice (notice the trend). Meagan has a pretty active social calendar these days. She has fun time on Tuesdays at the community center, goes to Borders for story time once a week, and usually gets to hang out with her cousins on Thursdays. This along with several trips to the grocery store keep her appropriately in the limelight. Meagan is now a bit obsessed with her new house that momma picked out for her. Fall is here

To celebrate the start of October, Meagan invited mom and dad out to Patterson Fruit Farm for some fun in the sun. Although it was a little muddy, we all had fun. As you can see by the following pictures, Meagan is a big fan of slides. She also enjoyed the tractor rides and apple fritters! Meagan is trying very hard to speak. She has a large vocabulary, however only a select few actually know what she is saying. Sort of a mix of English and drivel. "Momma" has become one of her favorite words. Meagan is still eating like a horse, but she is still very small for her age.

Daddy likes the sunflowers alot more than me - How dull.
