14 months and going strong!

Meagan is loving life these days. She is now up to 9 teeth and can eat just about anything (and does). She is very active, running all over the house as well as the neighborhood. So far, no talking other than "Hi!", but we are working on it. Meagan is now pointing at everything she is interested in or wants although sometimes it can be difficult for mom and dad to determine what she is pointing at. She still loves her flash cards and books. She knows all of her flash cards now which is a good party trick when guests come by. Her activity level has trimmed her down quite a bit and she is looking more like a toddler than a baby these days. Mom, dad and the grandmas are getting Meagan outside as much as we can and she is loving every minute of it! Meagan is looking forward to a fun summer in the parks and yard.

Story time! 

This is a day in the life of socialite, model, actress - Meagan Raubenolt. During this episode, we are offered a rare peek into the highs and lows of living the hectic, glamorous life of one of the worlds most popular people. This daring episode will follow Meagan from the time she gets up, until she finally ends her day narrated by the star herself. My day starts very early - I am up by 8am. My assistant takes care of me in the morning. Here we see her determing my wardrobe for the day. She is usually quite dependable, but today there were a few issues.......

I start off the day with a gourmet meal in my custom eating chair. Remember kids, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! After this, its off to work! 

Unfortunately, the day did not start well. My assistant did not pick out the right pair of shoes as I directed and I had a bit of an episode. Unfortunately, the paparazzi caught it all on film. Wonder what the headline will be for this shot!

I never stop learning. Stay in school kids, even the biggest stars need to stay on top of their studies (G is for Goat!)

In the evenings, I just like to relax in comfortable clothes. This is my quiet time away from the photo shoots and fans. Finally, at 8pm I get to call it a day. Well, that's it. I hope you enjoyed a peek into my life.

Enjoying the spring

Meagan has been getting out and about much more lately now that things are warming up. She loves here walks in the stroller and her new wagon - Mom and Dad like getting out as well. Meagan has learned some new tricks over the past few weeks. She can now blow kisses, clap her hands (only when she feels like it!), pat her belly if you ask her, and find some of her flash cards when you ask her to - her favorites are the dog, cat, and bee. She is also getting very good at kicking a ball around and running after it - look out Mia Hamm! We have not had her out on the lawn to play yet, but with the weather lately, that looks to be just around the corner. Meagan is also starting to show a demanding side (she gets that from her mother no doubt). She becomes quite unhappy when her bottle is empty and she also gets pretty upset when you take something away from her or do not allow her to go somewhere she wants to. Much to Lucy's chagrin, she vents her frustrations by trying to run down the dog with her little lawnmower. New pictures to be posted soon - stay tuned!

Wow! Baby turns 1!

Meagan had her first birthday party this weekend. She hosted a wonderful affair with fans coming in from as far as Chicago and Colorado - what a rock star! Meagan was a perfect hostess, spending time with everyone and never once complaining. She wanted to pass along her thanks to everyone for all of her toys and clothes. She tried cake for the first time, a little tenative a first but then enjoyed a healthy portion. Meagan showed off for the crowd - running all over the house and opening up every cupboard she could find. Dad is going to have to rename this blog or direct to a new one now that her first year is up. Stay tuned!
